2022/06/17

The board of the investment company Curus has elected Anna Dalgaard as chairman, succeeding business angel Lars Lindgren, who will stay on as a board member.

Today, there are 22 holdings in growth companies such as Mindler, Doctrin, Colivia, FindOut Diagnostic, Knodd, Health Integrator, and others. Anna Dalgaard was recruited to the board of Add Health Media in 2016 by Lars Lindgren, and now she takes over the role as a chairman of Curus.

– I am very happy that Anna wants to get even more involved in Curus in the future. She has extensive experience in digital healthcare and medtech, on an operational and strategic leve,l as well as, a broad network within the field and among investors, says Johan Bloom, CEO and founder of Curus.

Anna holds a Master’s degree in accounting and finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, and has also studied medicine at Karolinska Institute. She has a background as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co, and as a business developer in medical technology. Anna co-founded the healthcare consulting company Health Navigator with the business idea of combining strategic and analytical skills, with deep knowledge of healthcare and healthcare systems, to offer consulting services, but also to develop and implement new healthcare concepts. In less than three years, the company grew to a turnover of over SEK 100 million and was highly successful in creating unique ways of improving the care of chronically ill patients. Today she serves as the Chairman of Hemcheck Sweden AB (publ) and of FindOut Diagnostic AB, and as a board member of Ortivus AB (publ), ADDI Medical AB, Word Diagnostics AB and NRATIV AB.

– I am very much looking forward to continuing our journey with Curus, and building the future of healthcare through investments and acquisitions. There are big shoes to fill after Lars Lindgren who has been vital in developing Curus, but I am happy that Lars will continue to be involved in the company and the Board, adds Anna Dalgaard.

Curus’ board consists of Anna Dalgaard (chairman), business angel Lars Lindgren, Curus’ CEO Johan Bloom, Platform24 co-founder and specialist physician Tobias Perdahl and investor Ken Liebkind from Alfvén & Didrikson.

Several major investors, including Alfvén & Didrikson, Stefan Bengtsson, Christian Dahlberg and Alexander Stendahl, invested SEK 136 million in Curus to accelerate investments and acquisitions. Curus recently completed an acquisition of Pharma Industry Publishing to strengthen Add Health Media’s role in media and education in health and medicine.
