Curus strengthens digital medication management through new e-Prescribing platform

29 May - 2026

Curus today announces that group company Add Health Media AB, through its wholly owned subsidiary Health Amplify AB, is launching the new e-Prescribing platform – a modern digital solution that combines access to the National Medication List (NLL) and electronic prescribing within a single system.

The launch follows new legal requirements related to the National Medication List that came into effect on 1 December 2025. The legislation requires all prescribers to have access to a patient’s consolidated medication list prior to prescribing, with the aim of improving patient safety and reducing the risk of incorrect or duplicate medication.

The new platform has been developed for physicians, dentists, midwives and nurses with prescribing authority, offering an efficient and structured workflow for modern medication management.

With the new e-Prescribing platform, we have built a modern solution that makes it easy for both healthcare providers and independent prescribers to comply with the new National Medication List requirements. At the same time, we combine medication review, prescribing and prescription management in a single system, creating an efficient workflow regardless of where users are working from , says Johan Bloom, CEO Health Amplify AB.

The platform functions both as a standalone service and as an integrated solution within existing electronic health record systems, making it suitable for individual prescribers as well as larger healthcare organisations.

Key Features of the new e-Prescribing platform

  • Combined read and write access to the National Medication List (NLL)
  • Support for prescribing pharmaceuticals, extemporaneous preparations, licensed medicines and medical aids
  • Accessibility via mobile phone, tablet and desktop
  • Ability to cancel and terminate prescriptions, including prescriptions issued by other prescribers
  • Clearer and more structured prescribing aligned with new regulatory requirements

The platform is registered as a National Medical Information System (NMI) with the Swedish Medical Products Agency and approved by the Swedish eHealth Agency for connection to the National Medication List.

– The healthcare sector is facing increasing demands for secure and structured medication management. Through Health Amplify and the e-Prescribing platform, we are taking an active role in this development by providing solutions that combine regulatory compliance with practical usability , says Lisa Miksell, CEO Add Health Media AB.

Health Amplify is also a trusted partner of Sambi, meaning that both the company and the platform have undergone trust assurance and approval within the Sambi federation. The platform is additionally connected directly or indirectly with organisations and services including the Swedish Tax Agency, the National Board of Health and Welfare, SIL, Swedish e-identification services, BankID, HSA/Inera and FASS.
