Together with the founders, Add Health Media, Bonit Capital and the serial entrepreneur Fabian Fischer are now contributing SEK 10 million in expansion capital to the Swedish medtech company ScientificMed. The purpose is to increase the company’s pace of development and internationalization in the digitization of cancer treatments. In recent years, revolutionary new drug treatments for cancer, such as immunotherapy, have been launched that can cure patients where previously there were only treatments that could only slow down the progression of the disease. In order to optimize treatment with these new and other cancer drugs, it is important to continuously monitor the effect, symptoms and side effects and to support patients. Together with healthcare providers, patients, pharmaceutical companies and research institutes such as Karolinska Institutet, ScientificMed has developed an e-health platform with adapted so-called e-treatments for specific drugs and treatments.
